With nearly 40 years as a designer in the Textile Industry I specialise in the design and make up of hats, bags and accessories of the 1940's.
I use original 40's patterns or I will replicate a design from pictures by using my extensive pattern cutting skills.
My work has been used by The Imperial War Museum, The London Transport Museum, The London Postal Museum and many others.
FROGGY WENT COURTING SPECIALISE IN HIGH QUALITY, BRITISH-MADE REPRODUCTION AND VINTAGE MEN'S ATTIRE.
Based in Cragg Vale in the North of England, but can be found regularly at vintage events and festivals.
There is a shop in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, do make an appointment, you will be more than welcome!
The shop is based in Horncastle Antique Centre but they attend about 20 events a year, mainly 1940s themed, few vintage fairs. My main aim is to keep it original selling items from the middle 30s through to the late 50s but the focus is mainly wartime.
